Choosing Pearl Finish

The question is how much glow belongs in the room. Make the selection with your whites, woods and fabrics nearby.

For a quieter room

Start with pale references and observe the finest changes of tone. A neutral palette still needs to be judged in your own light.

For a colored surface

Explore the green, blue, blush and golden families. Consider the reflection as carefully as the hue.

For curves and recesses

Move the sample between daylight and the planned lighting. Review a larger mock-up where grazing light meets a curve.

Confirm the substrate, application and protective system for your intended surface.

Material story · Still Light

Light that invites a closer look.

Fine texture gives pearlescent light a place to settle. As the viewing angle or illumination changes, quieter areas meet brighter passages and the finish reveals another shade of its character.

Still Light is an invitation to look slowly. Explore the pale neutrals of Akoya, the greens and blues of Tahitian, the warm blush tones of Freshwater and the golden shades of Southsea. Restraint can live in color as well as in a neutral palette.
