Begin with the substrate and the selected finish

Application Information

Prepare a clear brief before planning a wall or furniture application. The material system and product instructions should guide the work.

01

Record the existing surface

Identify the substrate, current coating, approximate coated area, and anything unusual about the shape or condition. Photographs can explain a surface, but the written description should identify what is known and what still needs confirmation.

02

Separate appearance from application method

A finish code records the appearance you selected. Preparation, application sequence, tools, and any protective layers depend on the relevant material information. Ask for that information rather than adapting instructions from a visually similar finish.

03

Add the application context

For walls, include the room type, area, and site schedule. For furniture, include the component type, edges or curves, coated area, and the process you currently use.

  • All five PUKACO product lines are offered for both Walls and Furniture.
  • Describe any particular use requirements as questions to be evaluated.
  • State if the substrate, area, or schedule is not yet known.
04

Take the brief into an inquiry

Send the selected finishes and surface information together. This makes the material and application questions easier to review.
