References to explore

Begin with a measured tonal study.

These gray references offer a small starting group. Save the ones you want to review, then compare physical samples beside your anchor material.

Editorial comparison only. Review color, texture and reflection with physical samples; confirm the finish system for the intended application.

01

Choose an anchor material

Start with a material that is already part of the scheme, such as flooring, wood, or upholstery. Compare finish samples beside that anchor before adding another color.

02

Let texture do some of the work

Explore more than one product line or effect within a similar color direction. Compare the surface at the distance from which it will usually be seen.

03

Connect a wall and a furniture surface

A shared tone can be considered across both applications. Keep each selected finish code separate and describe the substrate of each surface in the inquiry.
